| Bob
Lober started St. Isidore Farm on May 15, 1996. St. Isidore
Farm's primary objectives are to provide a sustainable income
and wholesome family farm environment for his children.
The primary income comes from sales of vegetables to restaurants.
A variety of animals are grown for consumption and limited sale.
These include goats (for milk), chickens (for eggs and meat),
pigs (for meat) and horses and donkeys (for entertainment).
Vegetable production is done using natural methods -- no chemicals.
The farm has four hoophouses and produces 8 to 10 tons of vegetables
per acre. |
